Sirius IDE — Software License Agreement

Copyright (c) 2026 Clicksora, L.L.C. All rights reserved.

This is a license agreement between you and the copyright holder ("we", "us") covering Sirius IDE and its accompanying documentation (the "Software"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. GRANT OF LICENCE

   We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on any number of devices you own or control, for personal or commercial software development.

2. RESTRICTIONS

   Except where a separate written agreement with us says otherwise, or where this restriction is void under applicable law, you may not:

   a. redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Software, or offer it as a hosted service;
   b. remove or alter any proprietary notice, license text, or attribution contained in the Software;
   c. use our names, logos, or trademarks to endorse or promote products derived from the Software without our prior written permission.

   Nothing in this section restricts rights granted to you by the licenses of the third-party components described in section 4.

3. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

   The Software is licensed, not sold. We retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, excluding the third-party components described in section 4 and excluding your own content.

4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

   The Software is a derivative work of Code - OSS, the open-source foundation of Visual Studio Code, which is licensed under the MIT License and is copyright (c) 2015 - present Microsoft Corporation. The Software incorporates further third-party components.

   Those components remain governed by their own licenses, which are reproduced in ThirdPartyNotices.txt distributed with the Software. Where a third-party license grants you rights broader than this agreement, that license controls for that component.

   Sirius IDE is not Visual Studio Code, and is neither produced nor endorsed by Microsoft Corporation.

5. YOUR CONTENT AND YOUR CREDENTIALS

   We claim no ownership of the source code, files, or other content you create or edit with the Software. Where you configure the Software with credentials for a third-party model provider, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with that provider, not by this agreement.

6. TERMINATION

   This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove your installations. Sections 3, 4, 7, and 8 survive termination.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

   TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

   Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. GOVERNING LAW

   This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
